Coruja Sample Knitters

The hands that bring patterns to life in the Coruja universe

What does it mean to be a Sample Knitter?

At Coruja, we work with independent designers and carefully selected patterns. Sample Knitters create fully finished garments that become part of our studio rack, photoshoots, and textile archive.

This is not pattern testing. It is an artisanal collaboration where the finished piece takes center stage.

What does a Sample Knitter do?

  • Knit a garment based on a pattern selected by Coruja
  • Follow defined measurements, yarn, and gauge specifications
  • Deliver a fully finished and blocked piece
  • Respect agreed timelines and quality standards

What do we offer?

  • Payment per completed garment (fees agreed in advance)
  • Coruja yarn provided or credited, depending on the project
  • Credit and acknowledgment as Sample Knitter
  • Visibility in campaigns, website, and social media
  • Priority consideration for future collaborations

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience knitting complete garments
  • Consistent gauge and clean finishing
  • Ability to reproduce measurements accurately
  • Commitment to deadlines and quality

Important conditions

  • The finished garment becomes the property of Coruja
  • Original pattern authorship is always respected
  • Confidentiality is required prior to public release
  • Garments not meeting specifications will not be accepted
